Contrary to what we’re seeing in other parts of the state, Austin is still in a strong Seller’s market. We’re neck and neck with last year’s housing inventory and the increasing job market shows no signs of slowing down. Traffic may become more of a factor in buying decisions as buyers struggle to make commute times work. So, in town properties will become a premium and “remote” working options will be pivotal in keeping the housing trend going. Appraisals are still a challenge in this market, so staying fresh and aware will make a big difference.
